Erica Zellner holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and a post-graduate certificate in Global Health Management from The University of Maryland. Erica additionally holds the prestigious designation of Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Nutrition Association and is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.

Erica is a frequent expert contributor to various outlets including, The New York Times, Women’s Health, and HuffPost. As an Integrative Clinical Nutritionist, Erica's focus is on wellness in every aspect of a person's life: mind, body, and spirit. Her goal is to empower individuals to take full control of each of these facets in healthful and fulfilling ways.

Outside of the office, you can find Erica hiking with her puppies, weightlifting, or crafting a fine gin and tonic.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE VEGAMOUR PRODUCTS & WHY?

I have two favorite products right now. I love the GRO Biotin Gummies because it’s such an easy way to boost your nutrition and support your health. I also love the GRO Dry Shampoo. I’ve personally tried dozens of dry shampoos and hadn’t found one that I liked. The GRO Dry Shampoo works so well with my hair. Neera Nathan, MD, MSHS is a Harvard-trained, board-certified dermatologist. Try your best to put your health and wellbeing first, even though it isn’t always easy. I am a firm believer that no single product or treatment can replace the need for proper nutrition, regular aerobic exercise, good sleep hygiene and mindfulness or meditation practices. ‌

HOW DOES CLEAN BEAUTY RELATE TO HAIR WELLNESS?

A common misconception is that natural or “clean” products can’t be powerful. There are several active ingredients that have been shown to promote hair growth naturally, and have minimal to no side effects.

Ashley Streicher is one of the most sought after and relevant hair stylists in the industry. Her effortless approach to hair as well as her ability to embrace one's natural texture is what keeps clients flocking back.

She currently splits her time between LA and “Upstate California”, where she can ground herself in nature and enjoy being a new mom.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE VEGAMOUR PRODUCTS & WHY?

The GRO+ Shampoo and Conditioner are currently my favorite products.

I’m not an everyday washer and actually prefer how my hair looks after a couple of days post wash. With GRO Shampoo and Conditioner, I can let my hair air dry on wash days because it leaves my hair with all its natural texture intact, without the frizz and “puffy” look air-dried hair normally has. I love the light fragrance and the way it lathers, unlike every other “clean” cleanser I've used.
